What this tool does
- Preparing one campaign for several platforms: filter per platform and read off every cover, avatar and post size before you export anything.
- Checking a ratio for ads: type 16:9 or 9:16 and see which slots use it, so one master file can serve them all.
- Verifying limits before hand-off: each slot lists its format and maximum file size, so you do not have to dig through help centres while compressing.
- Copy the filtered table as CSV and use it as the asset checklist for a designer or an agency.

The LinkedIn cover is a very wide 4:1, so a 16:9 export loses the top and bottom; the ratio column lets you compare against existing artwork.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I upload something bigger?
The platform crops to the slot ratio and rescales, and oversized files may be recompressed. Exporting at the listed size keeps your composition intact and avoids that second compression pass.
Why are there several sizes for one platform?
Avatars, covers, feed posts and vertical video all use different slots with their own pixels and ratios. The table lists them per type, and you can filter by type to see just one group.
What do the levels mean?
Required means the slot breaks or stretches without it, recommended means it visibly improves the result, and optional is a nice-to-have such as a board cover or a desktop tile.
Do these numbers go stale?
They can. Platforms reshuffle slots and crop ratios, so the table carries a 2026-10 compiled date and the page warns that specs may change. Re-check the official help centre before a major campaign.
Does it upload my images?
No. This tool only shows size data; the only thing you enter is a filter, everything runs in the browser and no request is made.
