What this tool does
- Building an app store asset checklist: filter by "Required" and you immediately see the minimum icon set for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and PWA.
- Checking a designer hand-off: type 1024 or adaptive to jump to the right row instead of discovering later that the App Store artwork is missing.
- Shipping a PWA or website icon set: look at the Web / PWA group to confirm the manifest 192 / 512 files and apple-touch-icon 180 are all present.
- Copy the filtered table as plain text or CSV straight into a ticket or delivery doc.

On macOS the @1x and @2x files are two pixel sets of the same point size, and .icns packing expects both.
Frequently asked questions
Should I draw the rounded corners myself for iOS?
No. iOS applies the corner mask and shading to the 1024 × 1024 artwork, so your asset should be a full opaque square without rounding. Baking the corners in causes a second crop and white edges.
Why is the Android adaptive icon 432 × 432?
The foreground layer is designed on a 108dp grid, which is 432 pixels at xxxhdpi (4x). The system masks it into different shapes, so keep the artwork inside the roughly 66dp safe zone and leave the edges free.
Is one size enough?
No. The stores want a large listing image (1024 for App Store, 512 for Play) while the OS pulls smaller sizes after install; missing files get scaled and look soft. The "Required" filter is that minimum set.
Can these specs go stale?
Yes. Platforms add sizes as new densities and themes appear, so the table carries a 2026-10 compiled date and the page warns that specs may change. Cross-check the official docs before you submit.
Why does the same pixel size appear twice?
Different slots can share a pixel value: iOS uses 120 × 120 for both the iPhone home screen (@2x 60pt) and Spotlight (@3x 40pt). The table lists them per purpose so you can confirm every slot has an asset.
