The generator never reads it — without any input the page just stays idle; use the example button (it fills a harmless blank PDF) or type any character to start.
What is the page limit?
1 to 1000 pages. Zero or more than 1000 fails with invalid-input so a slip cannot create a huge file.
How do custom sizes work?
Pick the custom size and give width and height in millimetres (both must be greater than 0); 100×200 becomes 283.46×566.93 points.
What is inside the generated PDF?
Blank pages, one shared empty resource dictionary and a minimal catalog/pages tree — no fonts or graphics.
