Frequently asked questions
Why are some months missing?
A row only appears when the 20th-of-month quote differs from the previous one, so the table shows adjustments rather than every monthly quote.
How is the LPR quoted?
Eighteen quoting banks submit rates to the National Interbank Funding Center on the 20th of each month (postponed on holidays); the highest and lowest are dropped and the rest averaged, for 1-year and 5-year-plus tenors.
Which rate does the mortgage trial use?
The latest 5-year-plus LPR, with the equal-installment formula P×i×(1+i)^n/((1+i)^n−1). Real loans add the bank spread on top.
Does the data update automatically?
No. The tool is offline and the table is current to 2025-05-20; later changes must be added by hand.
