JS code generator

Generate runnable JS / TS snippets in one click: random numbers, UUID, date formatting, deep clone, debounce and throttle, array helpers, object flattening, URL params, storage, fetch wrapper, validation, pagination, currency and timestamps — every snippet documented.

Runs in your browserEvery computation happens in your browser — your data never leaves this device.

Generated code
// 生成 [min, max] 之间的随机整数(含两端)
function randomInt(min: number, max: number): number {
  if (max < min) {
    throw new RangeError('max 不能小于 min');
  }

  return Math.floor(Math.random() * (max - min + 1)) + min;
}

// 生成 [min, max) 之间的随机浮点数
function randomFloat(min: number, max: number): number {
  return Math.random() * (max - min) + min;
}

console.log(randomInt(1, 100));
console.log(randomFloat(0, 1).toFixed(2));

Copy the snippet into your project — it runs as is, comments are optional.

What this tool does

  • Grab runnable code for everyday frontend work: debounce, throttle, deep clone, array helpers and pagination, without digging through an old project.
  • Standardise the utility layer across a team: date formatting, currency formatting, storage and fetch wrappers all come with error handling and comments.
  • Tick "TypeScript" when you need typed output — the same logic gains annotations and generics, so you skip writing the types by hand.
  • Find a reference implementation quickly before an interview or while writing docs: 17 snippets cover random numbers, UUIDs, regex validation, timestamps and more.

Example

Input

Snippet: array unique / group by; options: TypeScript off, keep comments on

Output

// 数组去重:普通值用 Set,对象数组按字段去重
function unique(list) {
  return [...new Set(list)];
}

function uniqueBy(list, key) {
  const seen = new Set();

  return list.filter((item) => {
    const value = item[key];

    if (seen.has(value)) {
      return false;
    }

    seen.add(value);

    return true;
  });
}

console.log(unique([1, 2, 2, 3]));
console.log(uniqueBy([{ id: 1 }, { id: 1 }, { id: 2 }], 'id'));

With TypeScript enabled the same snippet becomes function unique<T>(list: T[]): T[] and uniqueBy<T, K extends keyof T>(list: T[], key: K): T[]. Turning off "keep comments" strips whole-line comments and collapses extra blank lines. The inline comments in the generated snippets are written in Chinese in both locales.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the generated code as-is?

It runs as-is: every snippet ends with a console.log call, so pasting it into a browser console or Node prints something immediately. That said, these are generic implementations with no knowledge of your business rules, so add tests and tighten the types before shipping.

Why do some snippets change a lot when TypeScript is enabled?

Debounce, throttle, storage, the fetch wrapper and form validation differ structurally between JS and TS, so the template carries a separate TS version. The rest simply gain type annotations and generics while the logic stays identical.

Are there framework or test snippets?

No. Only framework-agnostic utility functions are included — no React or Vue components and no Jest or Vitest cases. If you need a framework version, drop these functions into your project as utilities.

Should I use debounce or throttle?

Debounce runs only after the events stop: use it for search-as-you-type and for fetching after a window resize settles. Throttle runs at most once per fixed interval: use it for scroll listeners, dragging and mouse movement. Both are available; note that the TS versions use window.setTimeout, which you must change to setTimeout in Node.

Why only 17 snippets?

They are the ones people reuse most and most often get subtly wrong — for example converting cents to currency to dodge floating-point error, or auto-detecting 10-digit second timestamps. Adding more is just a matter of extending the template table in the source; the generator picks them up automatically.
