UniKit is a toolbox of ready-to-use online tools for text, images, encoding, development, dates and calculations. Open the page and get the job done — no install, no signup.

Why we built UniKit

We did not build UniKit to cram the most features onto one page — we built it so that "as fast as possible" is the default experience. A fast tool should not ask you to read a manual, sign up, install something or wait. It should be ready the moment you need it, then quietly get out of the way.

Today the work is split too thin: image compression on one site, JSON formatting in an app, unit conversion via a search engine, QR codes, timestamps, colour conversion and text clean-up somewhere else. Each task takes minutes, but switching, logging in, ads and upload/download turn those minutes into a quarter of an hour.

UniKit pulls those small, frequent tasks into one place: open the site, search, click, done. One less switch and one less wait means a little more time back.

What we believe

A tool is worth as much as it solves, not as long as its feature list. So every tool aims to be:

Ready to use: no install, no configuration, no manual needed to get started.
Direct: input, output and options visible on one screen, with nothing to learn first.
Consolidated: one site covering many scenarios, so you stop hunting across ten tabs.
Privacy-respecting: work happens locally wherever possible, and we do not ask for your data.
Always improving: tools added around real needs, not for the sake of a longer list.

Who it is for

Developers, designers, students, marketers, office workers, content creators — anyone who occasionally needs a small tool. You may use it every day for text, images, encoding and calculations, or open it once a week to solve one temporary problem. Either way it should behave like the Swiss Army knife in your pocket: it takes no space, and it is there when you need it.

Mission, vision and values

Where the name comes from

UniKit = Uni + Kit. Uni stands for unified, universal, all-in-one; Kit stands for a toolkit you can pick up and use. When you hit a small problem, we want your first instinct to be "open UniKit" rather than "search for some website".

Privacy

Tools send no requests and upload nothing by default; except for a few tools that only go online after an explicit click, all logic runs in your browser. Favorites and interface preferences live in your browser only — no account needed.

License and feedback

UniKit is not open source: the source code is not published and all rights are reserved. The tools themselves are free to use online, with no install or signup. If you hit a bug or have a suggestion, please use the feedback link below.
